Project Description
Skaled's CEO tasked me to create the brand identity for subsidiary Skaled Media under an accelerated timeline. Skaled Media would specialize in the development and management of digital presence for c-suite professionals. The unique design challenge emerged in finding a way to honor conflicting visions from Skaled’s CEO and stakeholders of Skaled Media. The latter envisioned Skaled Media as an extension of Skaled, with a look and feel of a traditional B2B sales consultancy, while Skaled Media directors called for a more radical transformation into a vibrant brand resembling a marketing agency. I orchestrated the compromise, leveraging the existing visual language of Skaled in a bolder and subversive way. The new logomark maintained a similar straightforward approach as Skaled to symbolize growth and expansion with a "play" button instead, ensuring this concept could be leveraged for different sub brands in the future as well.
