Project Description
Prior to 2020, Natalie George Productions (NGP) sought my assistance to legitimize the brand as a fun, innovative, and versatile event production company in Austin, TX. The challenge was to guide the founder, whose personal identity was closely tied to the company, in adopting a design direction that positions the brand as colorful and friendly without forgetting the gritty industry or the urban locale in which it operates. That is, the NGP identity needed to convey that this is a business of imaginative ideas and the technical and physical competence to build them. Separately, the founder provided me with two set parameters: the color palette and the tagline, “Events. Experiences. Entertainment.” These both would be leveraged as the basis of the NGP design language – three distinct polygonal shapes to represent each of the company’s areas of expertise. These then could be transformed into various graphic or textural elements.
